    • HOW AND WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY HOLIDAY?

      For Coastaways-Beachside Holiday Rentals reservations a booking deposit of 50% of the total booking amount is payable within 48 hours of the provisional booking being taken. The booking is taken on a provisional basis until the deposit has been paid in full and funds cleared through the banking system (where appropriate). The booking then becomes confirmed. Until the booking is confirmed, it can be cancelled at any time without prior notice.

      The balance of the rental charge is payable 60 days prior to the start of your holiday. Failure to pay the deposit or balance in full by the due dates will constitute a cancellation of the holiday by the holidaymaker.

      Please be sure to note the due dates of these payments as reminders are not routinely issued.

      Bookings made less than 60 days prior to the arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking.

      For third party reservations you will need to refer to the property booking terms.



    • DO I NEED TO PAY A DAMAGE DEPOSIT?

      As we work as a third-party advertising agent for property owners and third party agencies each property has its own booking terms as per the owners’ or agents requirements. Be sure to view the booking terms displayed for each property prior to making your reservations. 

      After making your reservation the companies booking terms are a legally binding agreement.


    • WHEN AM I ABLE TO CHECK IN?

      Most of our properties can be checked in from 4.00 pm. This allows us time to clean and change linen etc before your arrival. Sometimes this can be earlier by arrangement and dependent on the individual home and time of year. 

      This can vary for each property so be sure to check the booking terms for each property.

    • WHEN DO I HAVE TO CHECK OUT BY?

      Most of our properties need to be vacated by 10.00 am. This will enable us to have enough time to complete a deep clean prior to our next guests arrival.

    • WILL SOMEONE MEET ME AT THE PROPERTY TO CHECK ME OUT?

      No. You will be given details and check in instructions before you're due to arrive and after completion of any required check in form requirements. Some properties will require you to complete a check in form and agree to the booking terms.

    • ARE THE KITCHENS FULLY EQUIPPED?

      Be sure to check the list of amenities for further clarification.

    • ARE PETS ALLOWED?

      Some of our homeowners allow pets so please ask and we will confirm whether or not this is allowed in your preferred property.

    • WHO DO I CONTACT IF AM EXPERIENCING ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE PROPERTY?

      You will be given a contact number with your check in details. 

    • WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY STAY

      We act as the third-party advertising agent for the property owners and third pary agencies. Cancellation policies are pre-set with the property owners/agencies and will be different for each property.

      Before you book, make sure you’re comfortable with the cancellation policy. Please note we do not refund due to illness or travel disruptions.

      Any booking fees paid at the time of booking is non-refundable.

      We strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance. 


    • WHO IS MY BOOKING CONTRACT WITH?

      Coastaways-Beachside holiday rentals ltd act only as marketing, sales, and communications agents for the property owners and third party agencies. Your booking agreement is between you the guest, and the property owner or agency.
